We have three GREAT presentations lined up this year as well. At 9:00 a.m., Bob Heil, K9EID, will be demonstrating his BRAND NEW Parometric Receive Audio System – you WON’T want to miss this! At 10:00 a.m., Chuck Kraly, K0XM, one of the founders of the BYRG (Back Yard Repeater Group) in Kansas City, will be further educating us on the fastest growing digital VHF / UHF mode (at least in Missouri!) with his presentation “DMR – A Primer and Review of Its Rapid Growth”. Chuck is extremely well versed in DMR and has been credited with the rapid expansion and excitement surrounding this digital mode used on 2-meters and 70-centimeters in Missouri, Kansas and beyond. Then, At 11:30 a.m., Tom Wheeler, N0GSG, will be giving a presentation entitled “Simplifying DMR Radio Programming with N0GSG Contact Manager”. Tom is the inventor of this wonderful piece of software that we have highly recommended for making DMR radio codeplugs / programming files and we are EXCITED to have him give everyone some inside pointers and instruction on how to use the N0GSG Contact Manager software. .
